About distillery
JP distillery is a small family-run fruit distillery in South Bohemia. It was founded in 2013, and the first batch was distilled there in April 2016.
The idea of setting up a distillery came up when a nearby farmhouse including a former pub with a small dance hall was for sale. We seized the opportunity and decided to buy and renovate it.
We drew inspiration mainly from the Scottish whisky craft distillery culture with its unique atmosphere and interconnection with nature.
We want to continue the tradition of producing high quality fruit spirits which are typical of our region.
